If the good guys always survived, all books would be boring. You would always know with every book that the good guy wins, which really makes the book pointless.
I agree with Bella sometimes you have to kill off a good guy or two.
Yeah, I agree. It brings an aspect of reality to it. Does the good guy always win in real life? Sadly, the answer is no.
