Clooney is already 20 years older than Rhett was in the beginning of the novel and almost 10 years older than he was in the end... Totally different type, too.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! He's a shell of the man Gable was! (that's just my opinion, respectively.) There's nothing good about Clooney. He's just old-fashioned looking but he fails in comparison to witty and strong men like Cary Grant and Clark Gable.
