Agree re Gable, but in defense of DiCaprio in Gatsby, let me just say that when he used the expression "old sport", I don't think he was supposed to be natural. His whole persona was put on and fake. So, "old sport" came out fake as well. JMO :)
I agree they'd never find another Gable, but I do not agree about Vivien Leigh's Scarlett, no one could replace her either. She was perfection in that role.
