Wise words. Richard Parker was called. Richard Parker because his original owner was called that and it got mixed up in the paperwork when the animals were put on the ship. So thats why... the name stuck as many nicknames stick when you have originally used other name or simply 'tiger'. Though come to think of it, it is a bit strange to continually call a tiger that.
