Potato, potawto what do you think is going to stick in the audiobook reader’s mind? A verbatim quote or a summarization
Look I’m sorry I don’t remember the whole passage. I just remember this, what I wrote. You, as the author, obviously cleared whatever you wanted to correct. And that’s fine
Just a reminder that you haven't taken this doofus notice down. As the author of this book, I clearly stated that Jack Blanc was shot twice. The first shot hit his hand and deflected into his heart and probably killed him. The second shot took off his head and definitely killed him. Go re-read my description of the gunfight on page 20 and the autopsy on page 83 if you require confirmation. If you don't like my writing--fine. I don't care. I do care greatly that you posted nonsense based solely on a passage that exists only in your mind. If you're going to post reviews, don't base them on badly misunderstood recollections of audio books.

In court, the coroner said the first shot (to the heart) "would have likely killed Blanc" but then he was hit again, in the head and was instantly killed. Here's the pertinent passage from the end of chapter four:
The “greater portion of the left ventricle and the right ventricle of the heart in the anterior portions—that’s the forward portions—had been blown away, and in addition, portions of the pulmonary artery and portions of the aorta—the main vessels which lead from the heart—had also been blown away. This is a tremendous injury and would cause almost certain death,” continued the pathologist on the witness stand.
This shot would have likely killed Blanc. Smith fired again, however, and blowing away half of Blanc’s brain.
"The head was so massive that for any purpose the deceased was dead when that wound had been inflicted,” stated the pathologist.
