Thank you, Victoria. You are right. The shorts are sci-fi. The novel itself is mostly fantasy, and the two will merge once the characters from the shorts meet those from the novel, which will be in Book 5 (to be written, though Books 1-3 currently published as well as Book 4, under development, do contain scenes from the Ronin side of the story). The merger of sci-fi and fantasy happens as a "natural consequence" of the encounter of people from entirely different worlds, and whose cultures developed in entirely different directions. I hope this helps. And thank you for your review, which will be helpful to other readers as they decide whether to embark on this story or not.
