Hi -- I'm the author, Hillel Levin. My past book, IN WITH THE DEVIL, was the basis for the BLACK BIRD series on Apple TV+. SUBMERGED is about the 1993 murder of 16-year-old Rayna Rison in La Porte, IN. She was abducted from her after-school job and found a month later submerged in a pond 9 miles away. By following up on leads the police overlooked, I was able to solve the crime in ways they didn't and incontrovertibly incriminate the killer.
