Mitchell There are uncontacted tribes in South America and Papua New Guinea still, I think, but North Sentinel is fascinating because it’s an island that anyone can find on Google Maps.

Paul Bryant yes, you're right, there are.... seems to me that the Sentinel people are very sensible to be so suspicious of the outside world.

carol. I was curious if the Sentinel Island protection is still happening, and yes, it appears it is. Also that an Ukrainian-American Youtuber was recently arrested for trying to give them soda and filming them. The prior visitor was an American missionary (killed).

/sigh. Americans.
