I also quite liked the casting of the film, although Pierce Brosnan presents a more sophisticated and polished presence than fit with my mental image of Ron in his shorts, flipflops and West Ham tee shirt. The ending of Last Devil had me in tears.

Deb, I agree with you about Ron. My mental image of him was very different than Pierce Brosnan.
Curious facts: Richard Osman is 6' 7" and he is the oldest brother of rock band Suede's bassist, Mat. I'm sure their mother must be very proud!
