Melissa W I understood that. What is throwing me is the timeline. Ivory, Draven and Rhiannon were all ancients. Razvan hadn't been born yet so the part of his soul that would go to his lifemate couldn't have been given to Ivory yet, so how are they lifemates?

Adaiah My theory. Reverse the situation. Age, or timeline has nothing to do with it. A female lifemates is centuries younger than her lifemate. But, when she's born she holds the other half of the male's soul. So, why can't it happen the same way with the male if he's younger? When he's born, the half of his soul finds, and belongs to his lifemate.

Amanda Bhear Don't forget that if the male's lifemate dies before he finds her, she is born again into a new life. That way he may try to find her in her new life, thereby reuniting their souls.

Kathy This also confuses me, I am re-reading this book. Ivory said she knew Rhiannon. Razvan is Rhiannon's grandson and never met her. How did Ivory get half of his soul 2 generations before he was born ? Also Mikhail says Razvan is older than Gregori, but Gregori killed Draven, although I'm not sure when that happened in the timeline.

Kathy Are male's souls also reborn in babies after they seek the sun?
