Other authors have teamed up with booksellers to handle distribution of signed books (although with the lockdowns, it seems to be mostly signed book plates these days). Check out RJ Barker on Twitter: he works with an independent bookseller called the Broken Binding, Jim Butcher used to do the same thing (not sure if he's still doing that), that's how I got several signed hardback copies of his books. (actually, you might want to check out RJ on Twitter regardless, he's hilarious).
