I'm a former librarian. Jim Frangione has been around for a while snd he's one of my favorite narrators, too. My guess is he's getting older and many times performers get to that point in life when they do it for health reasons. You have to remember how many hours they spend recording each book. Many are over 10 hours and it takes many hours more when they have to do retakes.
