I vote that a media adaptation be a tv series and in an animation style (perhaps close to anime or akin to it). Meanwhile, I like it the way it is
If there is an adaptation in the future, I hope for you to be an executive producer/ have creative control! These big studios often run away with their ideas and the end result does not resemble the book at all. And your books deserve the best ;)
I know this is entirely theoretical, and that even if a screen adaption was in the works, you probably wouldn't have control over the audition process...but i think that either ezra miller or thomas doherty would make an insanely fitting cardan. again, this is not a practical wish. i just wanted to put it out in the world.

an adaption would be incredible. if they get it all right and make it hours long so we can get everything that's in the book in the movie too. or make like three movies for each book. if they get it wrong or don't focus enough on jurdan I will sue Netflix.

Hi, Holly Black Books are now called FBI Books: Holly Fairy Files. Holly Black just remembered she wrote Artemis Fowl. Holly Black, Artemis Fowl, and Agatha Christie are now all being reauthored to keep them from cinema. They ought to be stage productions in England.
