Raven Johnson Kristin, The Nightingale is amazing. It moved me to tears while listening to it at work. Thank you for writing it.

Haley Measures Those are my two favorites of your novels as well!! I definitely think you should continue to do historical fiction! Both novels were incredible in the way they shed light on parts of history that we don't offer learn a lot about. Most of the WWII education I received was about the Holocaust and how America was affected. But Nightingale was beautiful and I loved learning about what daily life in occupied France looked like.

Toni Davis Kaminar I want to say how much I enjoyed the Nightingale! It was a page turner. I was so moved by this compelling story, and would love to see this novel on the big screen. Thank you for such a beautifully written story!

Nightengale is one of the 3-4 best books I've ever read. I can still picture the Nightengale's sister trying to find scraps of vegetables and food, to try to cook something up in a pan. She's trying to scrounge for some form of dignity amidst starvation.

Blakely I've been waiting to read The Nightingale, but Winter Garden is one of my favorite books you've written. I actually have to pace myself with your books because they strike the core of my emotions and stay with me for so long. As a writer myself, your books have been truly inspirational, but I often wonder if the content ever gets tough to write.
