Maurice Thank you so much for your insightful answer! I already feared that the answer lies with the publishers. I ordered the English paperback and look forward to reading your story exactly as you wrote it! The fact that every reader takes the same story differently struck me when I realized that book reviews are much more divergent than movie reviews. Movies just give us everything, books only guide our imaginations. Thanks again and I'm really looking forward to The Scent Keeper! :)

Erica Bauermeister btw -- if the different readers/different interpretations concept is intriguing for you, you might like my new novel coming out in May. It's called No Two Persons (from the quote "no two persons ever read the same book" and it deals with 9 different readers' reactions to one novel.

Maurice You definitely have me as a reader, it’s a fascinating concept! Put it on my „Want to read“ and will save me a week in May to enjoy it! :)
