Mahika Tewari Amazing Advice Rick! You know, I used to hate Percy Jackson. But My 4th grade classmate, Meher is a huge fan of Percy Jackson and obsessed over it, so I tried it.

✧~grey~✧ @bookgirllamy you should definitely continue! i am also an aspiring author, and i know from experience how hard writing books can be. the trick is to draw inspiration from real life and to keep going, no matter if it gets tough...because thats what life is for. it'll send obstacles in your way so that you can rise above them, and be successful when you are older. lastly remember to learn from your mistakes...and dont ever give up. :)

Yasmin @bookgirllamy Hey! I can only agree with @✧~grey~✧
I was about your age when I startet writing, and I actually didn't tell many people about this 😅 BUT I did have this thought of "When I do finish it, I will have a GREAT feeling", which motivated me a lot!
I'm not quite sure how you see things, but I take it more like a challenge, when nobody believes in me, like to prove them wrong. And now I'm at a point where I think: I might be not even half the way of this journey, but if I now gave up, this whole world I built up, this whole story, all of the characters would be kinda for nothing – Although my writing style did improve ;)
What I'm trying to say is: Go on! Because such things as writing take time, which is definitely not wasted rather than spent on a great experience! Each story you'll write will become a part of you, your characters your friends, and so on. So it's definitely worth it!

PS: You shouldn't feel like this is taking way longer than it is supposed to. I guess that's just the thing, when you're writing as a "side job" because of school.
