Kristin, I loved The Women. Because of my age (I'm 77), your story was written about "my" time. I was so engaged in the story that I could not put it down...My husband was in Viet Nam, as were many others I knew. The treatment of women and the way nurses were considered second-hand citizens was appalling! Bravo on your story!
I too am in my 70s so knew several people who were in the draft and some that were drafted, For those reasons I wasn't sure if I would be able to read the book!!! Well, I have read enough reviews that i have decided it is worth it. I loved your response, made me realize that there are others who are curious too.
