Thank you for explaining the 'back end' of publishing. Very informative to us laypersons. As I have started buying your print additions too (what happens if we really DO have a zombie apocalypse?) this is very helpful to know.
Well, this explains why I have been limited in the books I bought.. Up to now, I have been sticking with the paperbacks in my local bookstore. I guess I will have to save up to buy The 'Burg series.
Thank you for answering! I just read my first book of yours, and while I usually prefer paperback books, I was wondering why they were so expensive and bought the e-book. I absolutely loved "Sommersgate House"!
Really appreciate your transparency on the issue! Kristen has spoiled me for all other romance writers (and I've sampled a fair number!) and I, too, want to keep a hard copy collection for those times when internet or power are not available.
