One week would make it a hard choice. One week abroad is hard enough, let alone another realm!
Rivendell would be amazing. That has to be one of the best ideas. The Shire would be good - safe hah - but it's too similar to Lancashire, my home county. After all, JRR did get inspiration from the Ribble Valley there.
Pern... wow! Dragons! Despite not having read those books, I've grown up with my mum reading and telling me about them. I think, just for the dragons alone, that would be worth it.

P.H. Solomon Just going through some of the old comments and found this one. Pern would be an interesting place to visit except for the dangers though the flying adventures would abound!
