Ahh, but can't you write a direct sequel that's not specifically a romance itself? They're still a gay teen couple living in Georgia; there are all sorts of possibilities for conflict that don't involve them not being together! Including one other major social issue that you've barely even touched on yet.
Or the same timeline of Simon from Blue's pov? I would absolutely love to read that!
