Erin Oh and aside from the Oxford connection, what drew me to start reading A Discovery of Witches is: my mom's name is Diana and she worked in the Bodleian library while we lived there! Unfortunately she is not a witch...at least not that she knows of!

Ruth Dunnicliff-Hagan Erin - how fun that your mother actually worked at the Bodleian! The first few years of my life were lived in Oxford and I have lived there as an adult for longer and shorter periods. I am in the early stages of my academic career in the Humanities and thoroughly enjoy remarkable access the Bod gives not just historically but also its depth/breadth of sources! .. You would have observed in the TV show that they usually made the Divinity School the entrance to the old library...
