I had wondered that question myself, as he's working on the car before Tyra shows up :) but I just figured it went with why he called her Red...who knows, Love him! (love all yours books :D)

I have ruminated and come to my decision. It's def before Chapter 6 and since this is TACK we are talking about AKA the most legit hero ever I've decided he already knew when he's working on the car in Chapter 2 even though he proceeds to give Tyra loads of shit right after.
I must say Tack is my most favourite hero ever!! Now back on track. I think that when Tack was working on mustang and when He met Tyra he found similarities between Them ;) I mean look at mustang, wild, fast and purrs ;) then he met Tyra, beauty with thorns, that knows how to throw a tantrum. When he decided that Ter was his, that was the moment He decided that mustang was Red's.
Now I've retread Motorcycle Man over and over, it's one of my favs and my go to when I need a pick me up. I think Tack decided to give her the mustang because it's a classic just like his Red. No one else like her and no one else for him, his one and only. I love your books KA, please write faster!
