Elise Oh, I liked those passages a lot as well as the way he juggled while thinking too - that was very realistic to me. I had an ADHD student once who, if I let him juggle, could compose perfectly metered poetry at the same time (which another kiddo would write down for him) - lol. Gifted child, just needed to do it his brain's own way. Sit and get wasn't going to work.

Danielle Salinger Those moments were some of my favorites because they felt so real and authentic, and gave me a real sense of his struggles. I loved the uniqueness with which you wrote.
