While I do enjoy the series, I feel that going much beyond 12/13 books may start to drag it out.(I only ask because I've been trying to wait to read series all at once until after they're finished.) And personally I would love to see what other characters/stories/worlds you can create.
The final book in the series will be Alex Verus #12, according to the Feb 14, 2020 post on his blog. It is planned for release in 2021.
