Bryn...at thirteen-years-old, that is NOT consensual at all. You were a CHILD who had no idea what love was and that what was happening was ILLEGAL for a REASON! You were abused and taken advantage of, not loved. I REALLY pray you seek counseling because that traumatic experience is not healthy and you promoting it in the way you are can cause other children who are being abused to stay silent or think it's okay when it absolutely is not, and again, is illegal FOR A REASON.

Totally agree with January. I so appreciate your frankness, Bryn. Amazing how people feel free to label, judge, and take ownership of the experience of others, and to evoke religion to justify their doing so.
I loved this book and will never forget reading it. Everyone I recommended it to felt the same way.
It is totally despicable and horrifying. I agree with Natasha Sapienza.
