Isabel, I truly am inspired your book. A lot of what you wrote about in Gabi, A Girl In Pieces, was pretty much me. I have never bene into a book before the way I was into that book. I never wanted to put it down and felt truly inspired by it. I went through a lot of abuse as a child and never really wanted to talk about it, but I had a friend at work that I got close to and I talked to her about the abuse, and the other day she handed me the book and asked me to read it, because the whole time she read it she thought of me, and I read it and it made me super emotional but very empowered. I was so happy and felt so good about myself because I felt like I could relate to Gabi and she knew what it felt like to be me. You truly have inspired me to write again and to tell my story. Thank You!
