"The Goose Girl" is one of my favorites too! All the stories you mentioned make me excited to read them again. I hope you figure out ways to make them yours, especially "The Twelve Dancing Princesses". I remember finding a picture book when I was little and being captivated by the pictures. The retelling might be loose, so this question may not matter later, but whose story would you like to follow, the traveler or one of the princesses?
