Thank you for your thoughtful answer. Yes, I did indeed mean where do you get your inspiration - sorry, sometimes my Australianisms get in the way! I have always admired the way you craft a story and build unique and intriguing worlds, so I was interested to see where you felt inspiration usually struck you. As it turns out, I'm actually writing a story that I started working on in 2004 when I wondered what would happen to people if the magnetic poles suddenly reversed. As it turns out - it's a thing. There are also a lot of parallels to Arthur C. Clarke's SPACE ODYSSEY in my book. If you'd be interested - I'd be honored for you to be a beta reader and provide your feedback. What a wonderful answer to this question! I find that the ideas are normally the more easy part of writing. I get hung up on the writing and editing. Then I didn't feel so bad about this when Dean shared that he writes each page..30 times! Each page!! Amazing! But all of his books are outstanding!
