Twilight Eyes is one of my faves. I've read it quite a few times.
Twilight eyes is my favorite of Deans novels.
My Cousin ran away with the carnival to play bass in the hoochie coochie show band. He said it was so boring and paid so bad that he was glad to come home after the season. But with nothing to do but practice, he got very good on the bass. But he never hooked up with a good band and had to get a real job.
