Each episode features new, unique stories submitted by authors in the Bizarro, Slipstream, SciFi, Weird and Horror Genres of fiction. The stories are separated by an intermission filled with a single song from talented musicians! This show is a variety act that brings music and storytelling to a single venue for you to enjoy! Framed around each episode's biweekly entertainment selections, which are carefully curated by the Editor and Producers of the show, is a persistent, fictitious world of meta-fiction where deadly conditions have forced humanity to seek shelter underground in cramped bunkers deep beneath the earth's scorched crust. The dead world of Random Transmissions t is a lonely, scattered existence where everyone’s separate pods are connected by nothing but a simple network. The survivors of the apocalypse have taken to sharing stories to pass the time as they wait. One particular subterran, The Host, has found a way to send back Transmissions of their stories to the past, or our time, as it were. He is communicating with us from the future!
