A little rushed, Jericho as a love interest comes right the fuck out of no where. And I liked Sam. Where did he go? He literally falls off of the book. Mabel doesn't have much of an arc, neither does Theta... actually a lot of characters don't really learn anything by the end. So the experience didn't really resonate with me, you know?
