I finished this novel a week or so ago. I have to say that I was disappointed. This was my first work of Merritt's that I've read and it doesn't make me want to read more.

I'd love to hear others thoughts on the novel and other works by Mr. Merritt. I've still got to read Burn, Witch, Burn! for my Appendix N list, but I've heard Ship of Ishtar mentioned as a book recommendation. If you've read either of these let me know what you think. Thanks.
