As I have been rereading the first book, my fanfictiony brain ke..."omg yess i was thinking about that too! everytime i read the first hp book, my mind always wanders off and i keep guessing what would have happened if harry had agreed and chosen to be a slytherin in the sorting house ceremony. the book would honestly take a whole turn and there would be so much potential if that happened.

Hey guys, I'm just making this new discussion here because the old one kinda got a bit long. So you can add in your discussions about the second book over here! I'll make a third discussion group for POA when we start that on the 10th.
Greg wrote: "I kind of finished POA already, oops! Couldn't stop reading lol."oh lol, so then you can either wait for us to finish it or you could carry on with the fourth book by your own, whatever sounds good to you!

hey guys! can we start with the 3rd HP book from the 10th of Jan? Does that work for everybody? I'm currently reading an ember in the ashes quartet and I just started the third book, so I'll need a little time to finish these 2 last books. if it's alright with everybody then we can read prisoner of azkaban from the 10th 😊
happy new year to everyone here btw, all you new peeps are welcome!

you can read the series you're reading rn in peace, I am halfway through chamber of secrets but I am also reading an ember in the ashes quartet rn so i will put hp on hold for a while

so for today, can we set a target to finish reading the first 9 chapters?

so how many of you are on the second book? I know @ElizabethSimone finished it and @Dustin Joines is on the fourth chap.

okay guys I'm done with the first book
ElisabethSimone wrote: "Yes exactly, Alan Rickman❤"yaaassss 😭😭💔
ElisabethSimone wrote: "Yeesss and Snape is one of my favourite characters. I don't know if he would be if I hadn't seen the movies tho haha. I can't remember what I thought about him before I saw the movies."samee, i feel like i liked his character more in the movies, probably because of how they portrayed it and all
ElisabethSimone wrote: "No not in the books hahaa but I will now xD
Hahah!
Aside from Lily and James? Lily and Snape😏"lily and snape 😭😭
that's one unrequited love I'll always cry over, i feel so bad for snape everytime i think abt it 💔
ElisabethSimone wrote: "Right?? We're just too invested at this point x) Being able to separate the author from the work is just awesome in this case.
Wooww Harry and Hermione.. this reading experience will be really in..."BHAHAH YESS, separate the author from her work XD
omg don't tell me you never thought of harry and hermione together 😂😂😭
that means i opened a whole new shipdom for someone haha
also, which is your favourite ship from the series guys?? aside from lily and james obviously, that ship was iconic 😭🧡🧡

also, idk if this counts as an unpopular opinion or not but i really did ship harry and hermione the whole time 😂😂
p.s. i don't feel like it's super unpopular cuz I've seen people shipping them and i think even the author herself said that she thought they were better together.
but either ways, it's just something that i feel strongly about 😅
Francesca wrote: "hi! So I’m in the middle of multiple series right now (ah I know I’m a serial series starter 😂) so I may be able to read some pages but not a lot haha. I’ll try to read when I can!"Hi! welcome here! and yes i relate with you, im also a serial series starter 😂😂
i picked up so many different books but never ended up finishing the whole book or the entire series haha

I don't stan her anymore but her books will always and forever have my heart ♡

YESS OMG I AGREE!! like I really don't care what she's doing, my love for Harry Potter is not affiliated with her

yesss, guys drop in your unpopular opinions about this series!

and also, it's a nice way to make new friends :D

So like, I guess we read the same books at the same time so that we don't go into a slump or stop reading it, ig it also makes the process more fun as we can discuss and talk about what we find interesting or like ask questions or something to keep us interested in the book

me neither guys, I've never really done buddy reads on goodreads, I mostly did them in person with a friend or two
