This is such a layered question for me. Harry Potter will always be my favorite, but Twilight is my favorite in terms of accuracy to the book and Narnia is my favorite in terms of it being one of the few where the adaptation was better than the books

I haven't actually read the original but I think it sort of is? I read a lot of other people's reviews after I read it and it sounds like it kept Anne's character the same and the major plot points were the same, but there were some side characters like the teachers and Gilbert that had scenes cut out for the manga format

I'm really excited to read The Kindred by Alechia Dow. It came out earlier this month and I loved Alechia Dow's first book so I'm sure I'll enjoy The Kindred a lot <3
