122056 List a book or lots of books that may have made you look at the world a little differently. It could be the way you interacted with people, what foods you've decided to eat, a new dream/goal, or just how you felt after reading it. It can be a book from your childhood or a book you finished yesterday. Doesn't matter which as long as you felt it had even a minuscule impact on shaping the person you are today.

These can be both fiction and non-fiction, but some form of reasoning behind your pick(s) would be greatly appreciated! As this discussion grows/members contribute, I will add these to our bookshelf.

122056 Hello all that may be out there in this great wide world...

My name is Alyn, despite what my username may imply.
I am your typical 20-something year old female working a job, not in my degree (seriously, it's almost the opposite of my degree field), and attempting to broaden my reading/interests.

I would love for this group to take off, however, I would not be surprised if it ends up being me and 3 of my friends.

Currently Reading: A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, and re-reading The Rape of Europa

P.S. Please bear with me, I am pretty new to this whole group thing and prefer to learn as I go. Rules and forums and books are sure to change over the course of things, but please feel free to message me with any issues. I will do my best to address them!
