He giggled. I stood up, looking at my watch.

They squealed happily "I WANNA BE NAMED GOBSTOPPER" The rest of the kids stared at them blankly, silent.

(SO DID I)
They gasped "I CAN MAKE ONE UP?!??!"

I smiled. I missed this

I giggled. She was always a bit eccentric, but I found it endearing. Matching her energy, I explained "Off we go!" And marched into the store.

Once we reached the store, I stepped out of the car, smiling. "So what's on the agenda?"

(bump pook)

One of the kids gasped, smiling. "Y E S, YES YES YES"

(IM BACK SORRY. I do think its your turn ^^)

Neo finished his drink with a rewarded sigh, placing the now empty glass on the counter. Breaking himself free of his own thoughts, he took a look around the room he was oh so familiar with, taking all the nostalgia in. Glancing around, he caught eyes with several regulars, a couple of baristas he recognized, along with many other familiar faces. Taking his glance back to the bar, he glanced over someone else sitting a fair distance away, observing his wariness of the scenery. Seemed like the same strange boy who was caught in the doorway-

(YAYA I learned morse code bc of Interstellar and decided that Neo uses it to communicate with the blind boy ^^)
Neo sipped at his water, sighing contently as it cooled him from the inside out. He focused his thoughts on the cold sensation, blocking out sounds, smells, and lights, immersing himself in his own content little world.

They shook their head "No idea what a name's made of. Only Nee and Daa have names" I looked at the ground, embarrassed at the nickname

The kid's face fell, all of them looking away. After a quiet moment, one spoke up. "We don't know- We were never named, and haven't chosen yet..." I stayed crouched, silent, rubbing my thumb against the back of the blind boy's hand.

They smiled, their closed eyes crinkling at the edges. The other children sat silently, watching Cy warily. "Hello!" one of the younger children said with a heavy lisp, his nose half missing.

One of the kids reached out, grasping at the air. "Who's there?" they squeaked out. I stepped down to them, holding their hand. "It's Neo! I brought a friend!" The child smiled. "Who? Where? I cant see..."

I smile, and led her into the kitchen, where I yelled "KIDS!!!"
A group of grubby little kids, ranging from ages between 4-10 looked up from their game of table football, their uncut hair hanging over their eyes, all of them scarred in one way or another.
"I want you to meet my friend, Cy!"

I rolled my eyes. "Alright alright Cy, ready to meet some kids?"
