Our The Plot Prive book club had mixed feelings about this book. On the positive side, the story was undeniably cute, lighthearted, and fun, with several members loving how it wrapped up, the ending scored especially high across the board. The characters were another strong point, with some readers really connecting to the MFC and MMC Chemistry. While some felt a little sad for some Side characters no names 'Charlie'🤭.
Some felt it could have been a little more dynamic, while others loved the cozy, low-stakes vibe. Across the board, we agreed it delivered exactly what you’d expect from a cute, wholesome romance, even if it wasn’t everyone’s absolute favourite.
In the end, Every Summer After turned out to be a solid summer pick, charming in its simplicity and a lovely way to close out the season.
