129784 I would never put different stars for the same book. It is confusing. Regardless of what it says on amazon or goodreads (I personally don't think people looking at the reviews look at that info) I have my own set of criteria for a rating.
129784 If I write: Thanks to netgalley and Atria books for allowing me to read this e-book.

Would the review go through?

I post the same review to both sites. Although since there are no spoiler tags on amazon.com sometimes I have to adjust that part of the review (if i have anything in spoiler tags).
129784 Do you post your netgalley arc reviews on amazon.com? If so what do you write at the bottom concerning where you got the book.

On goodreads I always write something like: Thanks to netgalley and Atria books for allowing me to read this e-book.

Would you put the same thing on an amazon review? I was told a while ago not to mention the word arc or the review would not get posted.

I would love to know what others do. Thanks.

129784 I only have a kindle and can always click on that "send to kindle" button with no problem. That sucks that it is not the same regardless of your e-reader. Netgalley is super simple if you have a kindle.

129784 I don't adjust. Whatever I give on goodreads i give the same on amazon.

129784 IMO it is okay to request the same books on edelweiss (unless I suppose you are always accepted for everything on both).

Once you click on "review copies" you should see something called "requests". It will tell you what you have been approved for, declined and what is pending.

129784 I like netgalley. But they don't really give reviewers a good way to interact with the publishers. Basically you just click that you want the book. But there is no way for the publisher to know if it happens to be your favorite author who you would cut your arm off for a chance to read the arc.

I just really like edelweiss' set-up a lot better.

129784 I find edelweiss so easy to use. Maybe it just takes a bit of time. And once you get the hang of it it becomes easy.

I like that you can see when the books are added. I like that you can write why you want to read a book. To me that is so huge.
