Hello everyone! My name is Melissa. I currently reside in Iowa, but I’ve lived all over. I have two boys (my whole world) and I absolutely love reading. It’s one of my biggest passions. I’ve been reading since 5 years old, thanks to my dad. He’s also an avid reader.

Yes, we currently have 2 cats, boys, named Juno and Tin Tin. We want to own a dog one day, mainly for our kids to play with. The cats are skittish around our young boys.

I live in Iowa, so we are used to the weather, but I really feel for the people down in Texas. My best friend of 20 years lives there. Thankfully her and her family had power and water it seems.

Between the Bliss and Me, won in a Goodreads Giveaway. It’s an advance un-copyedited version, so it doesn’t have a barcode on the back. It’s so interesting, as I’ve never seen or received a book like this before! I’m also reading Bone Rattle, another giveaway book, but it hasn’t held my appeal as well because of the type of book it is. I love a good thriller, but it has a lot of military/enforcement jargon and lingo in it, and I’m often confused because I don’t have that kind of background.
