Hi Ravi: getting people to try new things is a challenge of persuasion more than knowledge. This post might be of use to you: http://scottberkun.com/2013/how-to-ch...

158180 Tim: Welcome. MTH is my first book so we'll see how well my voice holds up in it.

Kevin: Year without pants is sequel to MTH in a way. It was the first time in a long time I managed a team. So get ready for the prequel :)

I'm not sure. I've never something like this before. I suppose I'm afraid of what I'll think the writing and the ideas. I'm not truly afraid obviously as I'm doing this, I'm just not sure how painful or fun it's going to be. But I'm glad you folks are joining as that will only make it better.

Hi Eleonora! This is a big experiment for me. I'm actually quite scared of what I'm going to find - it was a long time ago :) But I'm glad you're excited. Will be interesting!

158180 Hi there:

May 6th is 10th anniversary of the original publication of my bestseller Making Things Happen (originally titled The Art of Project Management).

For fun and to see what I've learned since then, I'm rereading the book and you can read along and ask me questions.

Starting Monday March 9th we'll read a couple of chapters every week, discuss, debate and maybe help me develop material for a sequel.

Please say Hi so I know you're here.
