Ch 29-Finish (view spoiler)[Well this wasn't my favorite. I really couldn't get past my dislike for Arabella and her brother was whiny at the end. And seriously, Bonny was that upset that Valentine knew he had duties to fulfill and couldn't commit 100% to him? Valentine's mother was really ok that he wasn't going to have heirs? Maybe I expect authors to follow reality too closely 😆 HEA must prevail. I did enjoy the moments that Valentine fought himself and found himself at the same time. Valentine was a great character. Character and task: Charlie Bucket - Book under 250 pages

Ch 1-18 (view spoiler)[My goodness this book is all over the place, lol. I love most of these characters, even though their thinking and actions are a little too modern. I really don't think that even though Bonny is so open with his sexuality he would have shown it all to a duke. But regardless it's refreshing to read.

I think that the most of this first half is crazy, Arabella is annoying as hell and if Bonny was really that worried about his sister he wouldn't be sitting around having these silly conversations and picnics. And having sexual encounters in the hay lofts. But finally the scene with Miss Fairfax and her games is so funny and entertaining and I am finally enjoying this a lot. And Valentine is perfect! His confusion about his feelings and the fight with them is so very real - and very regency. (hide spoiler)]
