Kellan frowned at Variel moving to grab their little girls seat. "This Senka lady...She turned me into this dragon thing and Salem really thinks he can challenge her?" He frowned now questioning if Salem might get transformed into a dragon too. IF that happened would he lose his powers as a Witch? Kellan questioned everything now, once again. If Salem got hurt or killed Kellan felt that he would have to step into this fight. He could never admit it to anyone, but he really liked the guy and his crush from a distance seemed to only want to turn into protective instincts. It was probably just the dragon inside of him wanting to protect and horde what treasures caught his eye.
Eli watched Damien vent and rubbed his thumb over Kali's pale hand which seemed to only become more white as she squeezed tighter. He looked to Sol, "I love Damien like a brother, myself, but he is often hot-tempered. I won't ask you to do anything you have no inclination of feelings toward. You're right...None of us have any right to ask for your help." He smiled sweetly and looked down at Kali. "If she wants you to feel her emotions I am okay with feeling it too, but I do not wish you to waste your energy on her unless you feel it necessary, Kali. Your power will be best reserved for when we might need it should we encounter Salem." Eli spoke calmly and tried to be as reasonable to the situation as possible. He was going to do all he could to help Salem fight Senka on his own or bring him back, whichever might come first, but he was not doing the job of the Coven Council for them trying to gather recruits for a war that will be nearly impossible to win. While they try to fight one of the immortals the other will destroy them. If Senka was that stupid to think a boy could trick her then she was a lesser threat than the Wraith that nearly wiped the Coven out in a matter of minutes. Both were a dangerous threat alone, but together if they had the mind to they could destroy every Coven in the world with a snap of their fingers. Eli was not about to venture to his death, but he was going to try and save Salem from facing death alone.
Ian watched everything pack itself including the towel he was sitting on. He stood up as the skies grew darker and the air became colder. "Yeah, home. If you want you can go on ahead. I'm going to get Kellan to the house before I clock in for duty." He had the natural instinct to lean in and kiss Max, but as he always has he suppressed it. It was already bad enough that somehow by some mortal form of magic he and Max were healed from their wounds inflicted by Senka. All he could remember was how frightening the experience was and even healed he still felt the sting of the blade on his skin and the whip against his spine. He and Max shared an experience that she already had shared with closer comrades before. An experience that scars people for life. He feared pushing such a connection with her into something of a different emotion. He feared rejection and failure and losing a very good friend. Not to mention if Max desired she could make him turn in his badge and gun.
((Please reply at the Perseus Cove in CHB. Also, where might Senka be now. I see that their conversation has basically come to a close with the other Witch and Cedrik. Perhaps, her and Artemus be somewhere or her, Artemus, and Cedrik?))

Damien ran forward as the storm continued to roll in. "Salem, no!" Damien knew at that moment he lost his brother, possibly forever. "Stupid, stupid, stupid! He never has been able to control his damn emotions. Now look, he has vanished altogether. He is going to do something stupid and we don't even know where to find him. He is going to use some untapped power of Hekate or Erin and find Senka. I already know. How stupid can he get?" Damien seemed to hold tears in his eyes, but his tears were always blood after becoming a Wraith. He moved past the others. "Well, you all debate on what to do with him and I'm going to try and stop this storm." Damien marched toward the hillside to get back down to the beach. The storm pushed in dark clouds blocking the sun out almost entirely. In minutes even seconds it seemed almost as dark as night.
Eli frowned, "Where did Salem go? He wouldn't face Senka alone would he?" He asked Kali squeezing her hand slightly fearful of what might become of Salem. He looked to Sol, "What do you make of this? I am aware you just got your first breath of fresh air only moments ago, but will you help us? Salem will die if he faces that Witch on his own."
Kellan wanted to retort back to Vari having no desire to argue, but being a teenager he couldn't help it. It was when the flash of lightening and the strong wind picked up that his conversation came to a close. Then he jumped a bit when the lightening hit the cliffside and he could had sworn he just saw someone standing right where it hit. "Variel? What...We should get your kids in the car."
Ian looked at Max uncomfortably as the storm rolled in having no clue of Salem just above them springing into his emotions and vanishing. He only knew of the storm rolling in rather dangerously quick. "Max, maybe we should head out? Let's see Kali home safely." He offered with a kind smile. He wasn't going to ask about her conversation with his brother. He would rather her tell him on her own. "I guess I'll be getting on duty today if this storm causes as much damage as it looks like it would."
Stefan squeezed Ciara's hand a bit nervously, "Something tells me this storm was not in today's forecast. I hope the Witch isn't going to be making us tag along anymore." He stood up and dusted the sand off of his shorts. He then offered a hand to Ciara. "Come on, before Damien starts his whole power trip over our personal freewill."

Salem lit up rather excitedly when she offered them assistance and the idea of her giving tattoos made him very excited to request for one. "Sol, you say you are unable to use your ruins personally? Do you know of any rituals that might be able to reawaken your powers?" Damien stepped forward and interrupted, "I know a few rituals that can bring back the dead, acquire new powers, awaken dormant powers, and even cause early Ascensions. However, as I have only pointed facts out and you owe me nothing what is in it for me?" Damien was clever and he knew how to play the odds always. He was after all still a servant of Lucifer, the Father of Lies. He knew very well how to use his silver tongue and get what he wanted. Before, Sol, could reply as to whether she would take his aid Damien continued. "However, tomorrow is Monday, the mortals at the graduation ceremony were all fixed so that they do not recall any of it happening. In fact they think that tomorrow is the graduation. I expect to see Salem walk across the stage and be handed a diploma. After which he will undergo the search for a college as he seems so keen to be apart of the mortal world I want him to have a good education. We will worry about Senka and you can worry about your future." He looked pointedly at Salem with no room for arguments.
Salem shook his head, "What?! No that is so unfair. I am being trained by Ash still and Kali and not to mention Max and her self defense classes. I am preparing for this war I can't worry about going off to college while you run around chasing a Wraith who is impossible to catch and impossible to kill." He looked to Kali for guidance. He wanted her to look at Damien and say, No he will fight and he will learn to fight if he chooses, but he was feeling sickened by the thought she might take his brothers side in this argument.
Eli quickly sensed the tension and stepped between Damien and Salem. He face Salem, who was only bale to make eye contact with the guys junk, with a kind smile he placed a hand on his shoulder, "Salem, do as your brother says. The fight will always be there and you will provide plenty of help. You already have discovered yet another ally to join our ranks in this war whether she wishes to join us or not, you found her. Your spirit has history with her and that alone is an accomplishment in these dark times. We came here to keep our minds off of the war. I think tomorrow will be another good day for it. It seems, thus far, if we keep our noses out of Senka's business she will not bother with us. Perhaps, a bit of freeloading will do us all some good."
Ash nodded, "Right then, Thank you, Sol. I will leave you all to figure things out, Salem, you know where to find me when you are ready to come back and work on harnessing those powers of yours. Keep a positive mind and nothing will stop you. I have a bit of business of my own I need to conduct. I will be visiting other Covens and learning of their trials they are enduring." Ash raised his hand and a column of fire burst from the ground. Ash walked straight into it. Then in a burst of light the flames vanished as a Phoenix took to the skies. Phoenix Ash flew straight toward the horizon on the ocean. There was no telling just how far he was going to go to meet these other Covens.

Damien watched the Witch closely as she approached Ash. He didn't trust her. He appreciated her gifts, but something about ancient beings these days just seemed to be untrustable. He watched as she traced along Ash's palm and made a rune. Damien was fascinated to see just what she was capable of. If she did turn out to be an enemy he would gladly kill her for any strong power that might reside in her.
Ash looked curiously at the rune now tattooed onto his hand. He spotted a lonely willow tree hanging just to the side of the cliff. It's roots clinging tightly to the rocks in fear of falling to it's own demise. Ash found himself drawn to this tree more so than any of the others, including the tree which Soledad had come from. He held his palm up at the tree's direction and closed his eyes pushing the power of the rune. A sharp wind twisted at the cliff and the tree appeared as though it was going to give way and fall into the sea. However, it's own roots began to grow thicker and moved over the ground just beneath the surface. Suddenly, the roots pushed upward and more trees seemed to grow from the expansion of roots. Within seconds the entire cliff was surrounded by a circle of willows blooming bright flowers of a variety of colors from opaque browns to brilliant blues. The trees continued to spread and grow until a circle of them surrounded Soledad's tree. Snakes slithered all over the ground seeming to pay the group no mind as they reached to climb into the trees. Their hissing sounding like an echo of the seas mist from all sides. The even more eerie side was the fact that the trees seemed more alive almost aware of their own surroundings. Their long viney limbs swinging in unison to the left like a constant breeze encircled them. Slowly the snakes went silent and seemed to become part of the trees themselves melting into the bark with only their imprint left of their existence. Ash looked then to Soledad, "A rune of protection no doubt." He said rather matter-of-factly. "The snakes they will come back if your tree is threatened. The trees...They are living...They can move as they please if need be." He said still studying the circle.
Salem was in pure shock watching as the tree became a grove of trees. The beauty was enchanting the snakes seemed a bit creepy, but still just as mesmerizing. "Whoa, did you...How? I haven't ever seen someone create a forest before."
Ash turned to Salem with a smile. "How do you think oasis's and jungles were formed? Forest and swamps all were non-existent in the beginning of time. Witches gave life to the world in a way that we could never understand. Soledad, here, I am sure took part in supplying these forest to South America. It is their sheer willpower which creates these masses of greenery. It will grow and spread and while magic is still strong it will remain alive to protect whatever it was born to protect."

Ash cleared his throat for a moment, "Salem, do not waste your breath any longer. I fear your words will be like her drawings. You may bring something into existence long before it's time is due. Soledad, it was a pleasure marking your grave with my blood and bringing you back from slumber, but I must part to more pressing matters. I have not felt the presence of our enemy. Even now as I feel out to all my covens and Wraiths...I have lost her and her pet who was touched by magic. I find myself in the desire to find where she waits for us."
Damien nodded, "Be careful, from what I have seen...She will not need many on her side, and will only use those with abilities of great magnitude. My former ally, Cedrik...If she sinks her claws into him it will not end well for any of us. While she picks away at us one by one he will lay waste to this entire continent even supplied with enough power. She may even lure Wraiths of lesser power simply to fuel the doom he might just bring while she takes her pick of all their prey and destroys them in ways he is unable to. Already an innocent mortal has faced becoming something that not even I have thought possible. That Sleepwalker on the beach...He is a dragon. I have only heard of old tales from my father. He taught me that when Lucifer fell from grace with his many followers so did another. This was a brother of Lucifer. His name is all but lost to time, but it's meaning has remained the same. The Dragon, that is what he was called. As I have come to learn history is much different than simple gods and demons. We are the gods....We are the demons. Mankind is our playthings and this world is our prison. She will know you are coming before you even realize how close to her you are. If she truly holds power directly from Lucifer you can bet that the Sleepwalker down there will be able to gain her attention. It will not be long before he gains Lucifer's."
Kellan looked at Max almost fearful of such actions. "If I am not one of those killers. If I am as innocent to this as you say. Tell me why I feel the hunger almost painful to kill just before I changed for the first time last night I felt the rage inside me. I felt a side that has been buried unable to ever come out. Still in my human form I no longer was the Christian boy I have brought myself into being. I was a servant of Satan. I wanted to do his bidding. It was almost like I heard his voice whispering in the back of my mind all of the things he wanted me to do. All of the things he wanted me to want as badly as he wanted them."

Salem's brother was not pleased with his words. "Salem, you let her go from your sight now and you will never see her again. She will be going through some South American jungle looking for the ruins of her kingdom. If there is one thing I have learned it is the fact that the more ancient one has become the more they will be enticed to deceiving you. Do you think Ciara has lived as long as she has without her deception? What about Ash here, he may be honest and trustworthy, but time has not fully caught up to him. He is just as conniving. Need I mention Cedrik and Senka?"
Ash crossed his arms and Eli growled a bit feeling threatened by Ash for some odd reason. "I will hold her to her favor if she wishes to accept Salem's request. However, do not trust such a fact because in the time you will want to call upon her we both may have already deceived you." His tone was very cold and more pointedly at Damien.
Eli shifted becoming a naked human again. "Soledad, is it? As I'm sure your people had already discovered the secrets and mastery of Sleepwalkers and Familiars I must speak on Salem's behalf. He is a good boy and holds few if any grudges toward any living being. There is a war coming and whether you wish to be apart of it or not you will find yourself in the midst of it all one way or another. It will reach you no matter how far you go. I'm sure you know what power a single Witch can hold alone, but imagine all that power facing a war worldwide. Every Coven standing against one another will cause such imbalances that no mortal would be safe and no Witch would be free of the burden of knowing what it means to kill someone. Salem is still innocent. He has not killed yet, that I know of and I have yet to see or hear of any Ascension. His blood is still pure and so is his heart. I promise even if you want to walk away now, you hold a friend with at least three of us." Eli gestured to himself and Kali as well as Salem.
Kellan looked at Max mesmerized, "So you just change and automatically find your human mind taking over? I feel like it is harder for me. I mean...I'm a dragon...I would have thought being a wild stallion or a unicorn would have been weird, but this is mortifying. When I change all I feel is a bloodthirsty hunger. All I want is to kill for the sport of it. I want to set cities on fire and watch them burn while I warm my hide on the cinders of all those I killed. I see corruption and greed and I want to take it all for myself. I feel the burning in my throat as flames beg to emerge. I hear the sound of innocents begging for their lives before the final scream that they will exert just before being turned to a pillar of ashes. I smell the fear of my victims and taste their blood on my tongue. It is so frightening to want all of those feelings and more. I want to be able to feel their flesh under my claws and watch them fight for their lives in vain. I'm not sure what made me of all people turn into a dragon, but it happened and from the first time it occured I knew I would fear the beast I become from that night forward." Kellan took a deep breath and blinked for a moment, "I can't find self-control. I can't even find that sort of thing as a human much less as a monster. All I want is to experience death all around me. Even in my dreams ever since I was young I held the fear of impending doom and now I fear that I am the doom. All I can think about is why did God choose to forsake me. I know I have some mental problems I need to work out that God has spoken against, but am I so sinful that I deserved this sort of fate. To want to bring the apocalypse?"

Damien moved toward Salem, "Do not waste your breath, Salem. Ancients are stubborn and stuck in their ways and only the ways of the old rule will process through their minds unless they have evolved with time. Look at Ciara, down there...She has evolved but clings to her primitive roots too strongly. Her family is her bond and nothing more is capable of being so solid. She only knows the desires of the flesh and mind not the soul. Look at Senka, she is stuck in loyalty to her father and therefore is enslaved by his power. She did it to herself unknowingly. Take Ash for example stuck in his protestant manner and clinging to the personality that defined his generation of birth. He holds such values so strongly he is blinded by what he is truly capable of learning." Damien didn't mean any of it to be offensive simply informative to his brother. "No matter what walk of life we come from we all are hardwired for the age from which we came. We are in an age of power, strength, and desires. We can only cling to growing our power gaining wisdom and strength of the mind to turn against tradition and with such wisdom and power we will fulfill all of our desires. Every age before us is stuck to their traditions and what they know rather than what they can learn and become. That is why Ash is incapable of reaching his full potential as the Supreme. It is that reason which leads Ciara to run for so long and never look back for she fears her past but has no knowledge on how to mold her future. It is such reasoning that Senka is so sadistic in her ways. She will hunt for who she is sent to hunt and she will bury them and all those they care about will die before she gets to them. Soledad is the same in her primitive mind she wants closure while in our modern minds we seek closure but only for our own personal gain. We know power their minds are too weak to be open to their full potential. So just stop wasting your time and theirs. You cannot rally a world of different centuries to face the first century head on. Senka's bloodline is from the beginning and it is that power which is so animalistic they only know pleasure and pain and that is all they want pleasure for themselves and pain for others. Even Hekate held this mindset wanting pain for her enemies and pleasure knowing that she can rule unchallenged. The only thing we all have in common is that we want at the top and none of us know how to get their without shoving others beneath us first."
Stefan put his hands up defgensivly. "Hey calm down, I was just making a statement as to the fact I was unsure if you believed in having pets or just food back then. I get they are not primitive and feral, but you need to keep in mind they ahven't been able to experience the ages like you and they may still find adjusting ahrder than you did as it was slow progression for you it was instant for them. They may still find their normal mindsets coming back and want to leave your home. Perhaps not follow orders from you to stay there and go out and hunt, and fuck...and god only knows what else. Not that I have much room to speak I used to be like that, but that's my point. I was like that in a modern time born and raised. They were like that when the world did not provide luxuries only challenges."
Kellan nodded in understanding as he sat down in the sand next to Vari. "What about your changing? I mean you were a Sleepwalker before you were a Familiar. What sort of side-effects did you have and how did you control that inner animal? I mean...I'm a dragon. I am a dangerous man-eating beast. I breathe fire and I fly. I am the apex predator of the world and I don't even think I'm supposed to be able to exist at all. I haven't seen any unicorns and fairies around, have you?"

Salem stepped forward, "She is here because she can help. Her spirit felt the unbalance in the rift of power and now such balance must be returned. Any living Supreme who ever was or has been would feel that drive to balance the Power. Don't you see she is the answer to our problems. With you, the Supreme, Soledad as a previous Supreme, and Damien as a Witch with the power to become a Supreme you all three make a holy trinity of magic. You are a ritual made flesh and bone. I don't understand why Hekate chose me to guide you when you are supposed to be guiding me, but she did and I know now you all must be the single power that defeats Hekate's brother, Lucifer once and for all before he brings about Hell on Earth."
Damien stepped forward, "Salem's right, we need to stand together. I will not be had by a devil Witch and any of her toys she plays with. Vari's brother has joined her and now I know she will be harder to stop once she has gained enough rivals to not only challenge our power but anyone who stands in her way. She won't need many to join her because she is so powerful, but you better believe she will only try and gain the allegiance of ancient and powerful beings. People who she would feel are worthy of sitting at her side at a dinner party. There are not many of those, but there may be enough that she could easily take down any Coven who tries to stop her."
Stefan played his thumb around Ciara's knuckles, "I'm not sure what is going on up there, but I know we are close enough that if Damien calls for us we won't have to move." He smirked remembering this beach well. It felt like an eternity ago, but it was only a few nights previously that he made love to Ciara on this beach and discovered his own immortality. He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Why don't we just leave. I bet if we run far away enough that Damien won't be able to feel our presence he won't be able to bind us. I mean you clearly aren't leaving as soon as you had hoped and I just remembered I hope your family doesn't try to hunt and kill your pup in your house."
Kellan stood and moved toward Variel, "Cute babies...So I have been doing a lot of research and reading those free pamphlets the Supreme made...Your Damien Devereux's Familiar, right? IT means you two are bonded for life...Sorry, I know I can be insensitive sometimes, but how long did you have to wait before you got to be bonded to him? I'm new to being a Dreamwalker or whatever it is, and Ian knows some things he won't tell me."

Salem felt voices in his head resurfacing as the woman emerged before them. She was gorgeous and at the same time frightening. He closed his eyes hearing ancient voices and languages surfacing from her very existence, "No, Ash...She is right. You may be the Supreme now, but Hekate found her before she found your mother to be Supreme. Hekate was the first true all powerful Witch, but she elected Soledad to be her next and to be the first Supreme the first one to hold the title and continue the line of power. No matter the outcome you would have been the next, but she was before your mother and with each passing Supreme the power always shifts to another."
Ash nodded in understanding, but why did Hekate not speak of this in her writings? If she chose her predecessor before my mother then why was it not spoken of? She is obviously from a time long before my mother's reign. Why was it not her who chose Ann Foster rather than Hekate herself? I had always presumed the power of such remained within the bloodline. I presumed it would be any of my offspring to take on the new age after me. Hekate lived for centuries even millennia before she passed into the next world. She had no choice but to press on and select the next one to pass the powers on. My mother would still be Supreme in this age had it not been for her untimely death."
Damien was silent for once in his life and in shock. He had nothing to say only watch and listen. This girl was quite possibly the answer to his prayers. She was in flesh and blood and now they held Damien's power, Ash's power, and the power of a previous Supreme which did not seem at all possible to exist. Which made reason to question if she was so great what got her locked away and buried in North America long before it's own true discovery? He now had reason to ask her. If she was a Wraith that meant Senka may hold more influence than they might. "Tell us, Queen or Chieftain Soledad, what caused your imprisonment and where are you from truly?"

Eli wasted no time in racing up to where the crazy twisted tree was and now where three people stood on top of the cliff was now four and that worried him for Kali. He shifted almost instantly leaving his tank and trunks on the ground beside of his sandals. He moved up the hill as a wolf and stood by Kali with a small growl and whimper at the woman before them.
Damien ran up not far behind Eli, but realized quickly he was still mostly human compared to a Familiar. "Not all of us can be there in a flash." He spoke breathing heavily as he made it to the top and stood back from Salem. "Who are you?" He asked with little care or regards to who she was so much as what was she doing in the ground and why was it Salem who discovered her?
Kellan looked up on the cliff and frowned, "Should someone be seeing what's going on? I mean, what if it's serious...I don't recall being able to see that tree from here before." Ian looked down at his brother and nodded in agreement, "Max? Should we go?" He asked knowing well that they couldn't leave Vari and the babies defenseless. He instead stood up and moved closer down the shoreline to Vari.

Ash was unsure what he was talking about, but did not question him. Ash had been teaching him to trust his powers and the energy around him because everything gave off either good or bad energy there was no gray area for it. If Salem felt good energy in a vision then it was going to be followed. He touched the ground and then put another hand on the tree. He stepped back as the earth and roots around the tree began to move like it was breathing. Suddenly, the tree began to twist and uproot itself as it grew larger until it's roots formed an archway out of the ground. Even as an evergreen small blue and purple blossoms burst forth from it's branches and vine down into the roots which were now exposing the fifteen foot archway making the tree a good thirty feet tall. Inside the arch of roots was a gold coffin engraved with ancient languages like a binding spell. Ash rubbed his fingers along it and instantly understood how to open it. "Kali...It will take the blood of the Supreme Witch and a true Seer. You are my Seer. He grabbed a rock and it melted into a stone dagger. He sliced his hand with it and handed the dagger to Kali. He then rubbed his hand along the frame of the coffin.
Damien wanted to make a snide remark back to Vari, before he felt power surge from the cliff. He looked up and dropped his beer as the tree grew up and bloomed. "Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing this. I mean...I could have sworn they were on a wild ghost chase."
Eli looked lowering his shades, "Um, maybe we better go make sure everything is alright?"
Ian looked up and was in shock. "Bloody Hell! You Witches never learn to leave well enough alone, do you?" He looked back at Max waiting to see if she felt the need to take action at this moment.
Kellan was taken back in surprise, "So, Ciara...If this turns out to be another demon Witch you got my back right?" He asked watching in pure concern at what was happening. Sure, he had become a dragon over night, but he was so not used to the whole magic thing. "Look, guys...I was planning a peaceful trip at the beach could we just not do this right now?"
Stefan took another drink of his beer and nodded in agreement, "Seconded...If witchy shit happens I'll be in the car." He said without hesitation. He seriously had enough bullshit to deal with having to bark every time that Damien said speak.
((FYI you know this is your ancient character right? Like the one who could help win the fight against Senka?))

Ash continued walking and moved up beside of Kali. "I sensed it too, but he is in the same frequency as the other side. He can hack into the memories of spirits with Hekate inside of him. I'm not sure what he thinks he is seeing, but spirits are dangerous to the living who see them." Ash warned.
Damien smirked over at Variel, "Don't worry babe, I know how to do quickies on laundry days." He made a kiss in the air at her. Eli snickered at them, "I don't think Kali would know how to react if I talked to her like that." Damien gave a light shove to Eli's shoulder, "It only looks good for some of us. Stick to being loyal to your friends and being the good guy."
Ian finished his beer and grabbed another from the cooler. He sat back down and downed half of that beer. "I'm so stressed out lately. What if Senka comes back for Kellan? I don't think even Ash could keep her at bay for too long. He is the Supreme High Priest and he is still learning. Senka is the spawn of something evil and...and...I'm afraid that means Kellan is too. What if she comes to claim Kellan as her brother and train him in his powers? She will twist him almost as much as she is. She already convinced a Hunter to her side." Ian shivered for a moment remembering what it was like for them in the cave. He truly was broken and Max was forced to see it all she even endured more torture from Senka than he had and he was still fearful from his first encounter.
Salem saw the woman at the cliff and began walking through the woods up the hillside as her singing was able to be heard and slowly got louder the further he went. In reality he only walked, but in his mind he spoke, "Who are you?" The singing continued without an answer to his question. He at last made it to the top of the hill coming up on the cliff. He stopped just at the edge only two feet from falling to his death. He found the woman her attire was certainly different, tribal maybe. "Sorry, but who are you and why did you call me up?" The woman turned around with solid white eyes. She kept singing and then walked backwards off of the cliff. Salem reached out to catch her only to find himself falling too. While being followed by Ash and Kali he was really standing without moving and staring blankly into the horizon.
Salem felt his grip loosening on the edge as he held on for dear life. Finally, he found the strength to pull himself back up, but he had help. Someone had hold of his hand. It was the woman again. She then walked to a lonely tree on the cliff. It was a cedar tree and she petted the trunk of it almost as if admiring an old friend. She smiled before vanishing. Salem found himself naturally taking a step as he came out of his trance. He was at the very edge of the cliff. It was this same cliff that Stefan had lept from in an attempt to win the affections of Ciara. Salem saw the lands memory like it was a living being with a mind.

Salem frowned at Kali feeling that she was not nearly excited about the control over his abilities as he was. "I understand the balance thing. Trust me, Ash talks enough about the inner and spiritual balance of things more than what I think is actually healthy." Salem then felt an inner urge hit him. Something was pulling his attention away from the beach. He looked up on the cliff side and for a moment could have sworn he saw a woman standing in the wind watching them from above. Salem seemed to go very sidetracked as he stared blankly at her. Before he knew it he was standing up and walking to the woman who seemed to be drawing him in. Salem began to walk slowly toward the woods which led to a slope tot he cliff. Kellan rolled his eyes watching Salem so rudely walk off.
Stefan sat next to Ciara and wrapped his fingers with hers. "So do you think a real war is going to break out or simply a fight for our lives?" He asked Kali leaning over to look at her. "A lot is happening with both Witches and Hunters. I just wonder how big of a battle will take place if at all?"
Eli laughed, lightly at Kali, "Okay, Kali...Anything you say dear." He then whispered over to Damien. "I just wish she would be that demanding in bed." The two of them laughed lightly and took drinks of their beers. Damien grinned, "Ash we need to talk." He then looked to Variel, "I'm fine with whatever you want to talk about because I know you have no complaints." He winked before glancing over at the babies in their carseats. Xander began to cry softly, not enough to wake up Xandria, but enough to let someone know he was there.
Ash stepped toward the two guys and nodded to Eli, "I know what you want my help with and what bothers me more is if we seek the aid that I would have we may be in for more than what we bargained for." Ash was wary of what might become of their extended family should he use Salem to summon forth guidance from his great grandmother, Hekate. He then watched as Salem walked by, "Salem? Where are you going?" He was already protective of Salem, but apparently he wasn't the only one. Eli and Damien and a number of others seemed rather protective over him. Ash was curious what made Salem so special and expected through his training he would eventually find out just what it was.
Ian moved over to Max and sat down in the sand with two beers in his hands. He handed one to Max. "I know alcohol doesn't do much for you all, but the small feeling you get after about twenty is always nice." He offered a smile to her knowing she was just as drained as he was. "So....I'm considering turning Kellan over to the controlled protection of the Coven. He will be safer with them watching over him until his year and a day is up. He needs to become a Familiar so Senka won't hold so much control over him. I'm worried about him, Max. Senka spoke like there was a true connection between them and it doesn't seem at all possible. He is my bleeding brother after all. I hold no connection to Senka, but Kellan does."
