I completed A Spool of Blue Thread and The Poetry Of Cats. SOBT was pretty good. POC was so-so. I guess I've outgrown poetry.

Clare, when I was in HS my theater group did Flowers For Algernon. It was one of the most moving experiences of my young life! Our School Valedictorian played Charlie, and he was masterful! I have never read the book - maybe I should.
Sorry I haven't been keeping up! Sick baby, sick husband, crazy busy around here for a couple weeks. I've read 4 books since the new year. Staked, Odd Hours, Odd Apocalypse, and Deeply Odd. Right now I'm reading Saint Odd. I get hung up on a series and can't put them down. I have 4 books requested at the library and am waiting on them.
Happy New year!!! New computer (installing and loosing and recovering data), family visiting, and now a sick baby to care for while Mommy works has kept me very quiet. I managed to read one book this year, but not one of the ones on my list. I'm starting an "Staked" an Iron Druid book and #5 on my list now.Happy reading everyone.

Hello everyone! I'm Leanne. I'm from West Virginia (USA), 52, and looking for a "book club" that encourages me to read books I don't normally read. I don't; however, need all the pressure associated with the 52 Books/Popsugar etc. challenges. Reading is supposed to be enjoyable! I also don't need a group that berates one for reading "brain-candy" instead of "real literature". Sometimes we just need candy!
