I read Little Girl Lost, which takes place in Ireland (which is an island!). I was a simple read and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a decent mystery.

I LOVE the DiscWorld series! This is one I've not read (there are so many!) I'll be eager to hear what you think of it.

Currently reading Drafters by Kim Harrison (yes, I read multiple books at once!) I love her writing style and this is the first book in a new series. (Her previous series, The Hollows took place in a fantasy section of Cincinnati, Ohio!) If you like science fiction combined with lots of action, I think you might enjoy this one.

Also finishing up Place by Bob Gentzel. This is the story of Canfield, Ohio in the 50's. I grew up there and went to school with Bob's older sister. It's a fun book for those of us that can relate, but not sure if others would enjoy it.

I'm re-reading The Group by Mary McCarthy. I was in high school in the 60's, so this was a somewhat scandalous book. Reading it know, it's amazing how women have changed. I'd recommend it just for the sheer pleasure of being able to appreciate how "good" women have it today (even though we have a long way to go!)
