I'm currently reading I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett. It's not per say based on a fairy tale but elements from fairytales are taken and kind of parodied in books from this series so I'm counting it

I read Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu in a night. I wouldn't recommend it as I found the writing style dull.
