It was published in 2016 but With Malice by Eileen Cook is very reminiscent of the Amanda Knox case. (Sorry no link, on mobile)

Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart is intended as an homage to Patricia Highsmith but it reads like a ripoff of The Talented Mr Ripley.

Possibly something by Ivan Southall - he wrote a lot of survival stories set in Australia and many have been translated into dutch.
