I was a bit annoyed at how alex acted when Cassie started talking about children. I feel like it's something that they should have talked about before they had gotten married. I hate that alex pretty much turned into whatever character he is playing on screen at the moment. I find it really scary. I really hate how Cassie continues to excuse his abuse. When Cassie went to Will's house I was so excited. I know that Will will do whatever he can to keep Cassie safe.

I find Cassies strong connection to Connor, even after he is gone, very heartwarming. I think that alex's possessiveness at the very beginning of their relationship should have been a warning sign. The story of Alex's dad leaving him at the swamp all night was absolutely sickening. The scene when Cassie was on her way to her wedding and ran out of the limo was heart wrenching. I don't think Cassie's perception of how Ophelia felt about her and Alex's marriage was right. I really think that Ophelia was just trying to be a good friend.

I like how Cassie is remembering little by little and not everything all at once. I love how descriptive Jodi was with the house. Finding out what happened the night Cassie left made a lot of sense. I love that Jodi does so much research on topics. Though I am finding Will's background stories a bit uninteresting at the moment. So far I'm finding Cassie's career very interesting. I love the story of how Cassie and Alex actually met. The background on Alex's dad really explained a lot.

I like that Cassie's mom was mentioned pretty early on in the story. I thought it was odd that Cassie kept thinking that alex was acting at random moments. It makes me question their relationship. I don't find the stories of Will's childhood very interesting at the moment. I'm noticing that Alex is a perfectionist. I like the air of mystery surrounding Connor. Because of the scene at the restaurant I'm wondering if alex cheats on Cassie. It also seems that alex has a very bad temper.

The scene in the first chapter with Will and the cops made me uncomfortable. I thought the story of Will's mom and dad falling in love was extremely cute. Basically these chapters were just a little bit of a set up toward the story. I'm very intrigued to find out why the woman was in the cemetery.

I feel like it was just up to us to decide what happened. I decided Max ended up fine and that is what brought Nicholas and Paige back together in the end.

Yes! The pictures in the hospital sooner would have been great.

Nicholas was quick to jump to decisions here I completely agree.

Seriously that was an intense scene... but what did she expect to be welcomed back with open arms? Lol He went overboard though I agree.

Yes I felt bad for him here too.

Seriously he was too much on her back!

I agree definitely my least favorite but overall I still liked it lol

These last few chapters were just mind blowing I cried and I laughed and I smiled and all sorts of emotions ran through me reading these chapters. I really don't know how I feel about the ending of this book but I know that I don't hate it.

I completely forgot that Robert came from family a little wealth and built his own wealth. When he sat down with Paige and had a conversation it really explained so much about their past issues. He thought since he had came from little to nothing like she did that he knew what was best for her. He thought that he knew she was going to be uncomfortable in situations when she actually was. It just seemed like he was on her side and it was nice to see that Nicholas's family was actually on her side.

I don't know why I sympathize so much with Paige even though she left for three months which I think was completely wrong. I loved when Astrid invited Paige to stay with her and her husband I found it extremely unexpected but it made me smile. I knew that it was going to have a bad outcome when it came to Nicholas though.

I didn't think it was fair of Paige's mom to ask Paige how her dad has been. I don't think that Nick being named chief of cardiothoracic surgery will be good for his personal life. I almost got the feeling that Paige's mom loved her horse more than she did Paige. I was extremely happy when Paige finally decided to go home.

I almost feel like maybe Paige's mom has some sort of mental illness based on the memories That Paige recalls. I felt myself getting a bit maybe bored with the descriptions of certain things. I felt like Jodi went into major description on a lot of things that didn't need to be explained.

Seriously the restaurant scene was another crazy one lol

I did think Jane and Joley's relationship was more in Joley's head for some reason.
