I think it is time to start thinking of a summer wrap up event. A few of us had discussed a raffle of sorts and potluck. What do you ladies and gentlemen think? And would you like to just plan it for our next meeting, or would you like an additional one in September?~Colleen
Folks - Looks like the Libraries Staff Picnic coincides with our bi-weekly lunch meeting - so let's cancel for this week (8/3/10).

Hey guys-If you have any friends on Goodreads that are students,faculty, or staff at UCSD, please invite them to join our group! And if they aren't Goodreads members, recommend that they become one so they can read with us. The more the merrier, and though we will be a fairly merry bunch, it would be great to get more people involved.
Do you have any ideas for how to spread the word about the group? Let me know and we can work together to make sure that folks know about us.

You could always alternate with. . . what is the opposite of "end of the world"? That would be a roller coaster of summer reading!
Just wanted to let folks know that I added a couple of events to the Group calendar. Once we have figured out how things are going to work I will send invites.
