Yes, I was going to suggest Libby also. I listen to audiobooks from there all the time. I can't speed the books up as fast as audible but it's still a pretty good speed. I'm lucky that I live in a metropolitan area sandwiched between two states so I have access to 4 libraries and it has helped wonders, especially with the new releases or most popular books.

Once I get my books finished tonight, I know I have two left on the spreadsheet for the next 3 days but I'll also try to find an X book. I know we need that letter in a couple places. Cool, I'll have to go check that sale out. I'm currently listening to an audiobook working on computer stuff.

I added some more books. I'll have more finished tonight.

Hehehe well we had a new ac unit installed in our house yesterday. Long story but ours decided to kick the bucket Wednesday and it’s hot outside. So I was listening to one yesterday and put it on speaker because I was doing stuff while the people were there. Needless to say I realized really quick that I probably needed to find some headphones! I don’t think the installation guys would’ve appreciated my chipmunk romance book.

I have a lot of books left to finish but I know that I'll get them down.

Jenny, I totally just used your task lines for
Watership Down. I'm planning on reading it this week. I went ahead and planned out all those Olympic books and just went for it with mostly 300-400 page books. I'll be listening to chipmunk speed audio books and reading every night but I'm telling myself that I can make this happen. It means that I will have more than my usual number books this 2 weeks but its all the Olympics fault. I think I'm just going to go ahead and add them to the spreadsheet and then I have to legit make it happen.

I'll go work on ..."Cool! I will probably go have a look. I'm pretty sure that it's 100 pages because I had a book less than 160 over here and had to take it off because it didn't give us any points.

I'm on the waitlist for both August books so I should get them. I'm working my way through
The Sun Down Motel and should have that finished today. I'll go work on my answers to questions at some point today as long as work isn't too crazy. Y'all really need to read
Dear Martin. I read it last month and it was really good. I'm also sitting over here looking at this weeks Olympic tasks and shaking my head. I was confident I could do 7 books in 7 days for Show Dressing and then boom the Decathlon appeared. I think the Olympic Gods are just waiting until someone goes off screaming in the wind. For reals! I may be pulling out my Harry Potter broom and holding on for dear life in the sky before this is over.

I'll have mine done this morning. It would've already been finished but I couldn't complete it until a book was finished before mine. Crazy Olympic rules...so I've been sitting on the last two chapters patiently. Well, maybe not so patiently, because I went and finished another book in the meantime, but I can finish it now. :)

I just finished a super long book! I needed it done so now my Olympic book will have to be done tonight and then I can start on the other book. I may have stayed up way past my bedtime and now I'll be running on fully leaded Coke and possibly multiple cups of coffee today but
11/22/63 was a really good book and I liked it. I can't remember who else is reading it this week but it had mega points attached. Now to go read that historical romance....my reading choices are all over the place right now.

Next time, I'll mention I'm having trouble getting it. I have to finish one book for the Olympics before I can start it but hopefully I'll get it going tomorrow.

Thanks! I put myself on the waitlist last month but it's taking forever.

Quick question? I'm next on the wait list for
The Sun Down Motel. I thought I would've had it already but people must be slow reading. If I get it in the next couple of days, can I still read it for points even though the last day for new questions is today? I usually always read during the time frame but the book just isn't here. Also, I can't read
Dear Martin because I just read it but it's really, really good!

Cool! I just added some more books and a couple of them were 400 pages. I have 2 big books that I'm working on for this week and then some more little ones. I've had to move things around again for these Olympic games so it's been interesting. I'll see what other bigger books that I can fit in also. :)

I have that book on my library waitlist. Let me know how it goes. If I get it by next week then I may tackle it on and off with another book.

I just marked both to read. Hopefully, I'll get to them this month. I did have to add a couple short books to the spreadsheet because I needed short reads for a couple tasks over the weekend that I could knock out fast. I have some longer books planned also and I'm trying to find a really good long book to add in.

I'll jump on the bandwagon. I actually liked
The Nightingale tons better than
Winter Garden. It could be the time in my life that I read each book but the Nightingale I thought kept my attention more and I felt like I was right there with the characters a little more. I also enjoyed
The Great Alone. I just added the other one to my wishlist.

I also have the new Hunger Games book ready to go on audible for this week. Hmmm, I think the two books that I read over the past couple weeks would be:
I love these books. This is the first one in the newest series and it starts to show more of the beloved families we know from City of Bones and Clockwork Angel. I gave it a 5 and it was really good.
I read this book because it was highly recommended to me from people in real life. Growing up in Alabama, I know all too well about times where racism was present but never truly experienced it myself. My dad can tell stories on stories though. Given everything that has happened over the past month in USA, this book was a great read just to shed more light on how things should not be. I gave it a 5 also.
I actually didn't like
. I know it has a pretty good rating on Goodreads and it won a GCA, I just had a terrible time getting into it and was over the story pretty quickly. I did finish it though.

I didn't even think of series name. I'll slip it in there for now and mark the other two things as options. Thanks!!! I'm having to do some juggling over here because the Olympics are causing me issues.

I'll find some bigger books to throw in the mix. I know people read
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes last week. What character fits in the words this time? I'm planning on knocking that one out on audio this week.
