Life, the Universe and Everything An amazing look into life, the world around you and the mysteries of space as well as the mysteries of the world. The fact that Arthur gets fobbed off again and again by so many of the other characters but also his own stupidity at times it really shows the differences. I loved this book it was so much better than the last and seeing Arthur grow in so many ways and the chaos of the lives intertwining was amazing. I hope that the strengths from this book grows more. The Stars Have Eyes I absolutely loved this book. It is so very different to Everybody Loves Large Chests and yet has so much personality. Mags and Jo are such amazingly aware and dense people at the same time the chaos of her coming to his realm was enthralling. A romance story of a very different nature but the social commentary and English nature really had me enjoying every minute.
Soundbooth Theatre did an amazing job bringing it to life for audio. I am so glad that it is available to more people who may not know of Royal Road.

Shadows for Silence in the Forests of HellA story of strength, misdirection, desperation and darkness. Silence is an amazing woman and the world she lives in finding a way for her to live and protect her way of life. It is fast paced and full of pulse pounding tension. I loved the characters and a strong woman taking control of her own life.

Debt of BonesIf you have never read Wizards First Rule it is an amazing introduction to all the different factions at play within the books. A chaotic book of constant movement, switchbacks in who is good and evil as well as elements of backstory sprinkled in to set up characters that will likely come in more in the main series. I never quite knew where it was going but at the same time I was hooked. It could be overwhelming with the volume of information at a couple of points but he made an effort for the important information to stand out in calmer moments.
Abby is a woman desperate to save her daughter from the invading army while at the same time trying to live with those who despise magic and an inherent misunderstanding of what magic is. She is trying to see Zeb Zorander First Wizard. A man who is forever busy. A debt of bones handed down from mother to daughter and father to son will change things.
Well this sucks, the majority of my series for this month are in the 3-12 region of books as they have some new releases coming out. Start of Month

The Weirdies Get WeirderIt was a fun book following in the theme of what makes social norms, and finding your own place in a world that seems strange. The Weirdies have a very unusual outlook on life and it is amazing to see their new mother try joining them. Also the racoons were fun.

WayboundI loved this conclusion to the series. It wrapped up so many different small storylines that were still outstanding that I hadn't even managed to keep track of them all. I loved the look at all the characters and all the sides to this fight as well as the difficult choice of what is right vs what you want. I am hoping we come back to the Way at some point but honestly I loved the pacing and constant movement of the book.

Pan's Labyrinth: The Labyrinth of the FaunIf you enjoyed the movie you will enjoy the book. It adds a little more to the stories and allows you to see some of the things that were cut from the full movie. Written by Gillermo Del Torro it really shows that 2 different levels of story tell can merge together really well allowing for interactive growth within the main tale. I highly recommend everyone gives it a read as really has some interesting insights into personalities.

Tree of Aeons: An Isekai LitRPG AdventureIt is strange I never thought a book about someone who was reborn as a tree would be interesting. However he became a tree that wanted to protect those from his village he cared for. It was sweet, full of action, demons, revenge and a rather meditative early tree perspective balance. I listened to this during a stressful time in the month and it provided a continuous measure of peace and enjoyment allowing me cope. I am really looking forward to book 2.
